Anti-UV welding PVC rolls are made for work environments were ‘arc-eye’ can be a major health-hazard for people in the vicinity of a welder at work. In these area, effective screening of the harmful UV rays is essential. During the manufacturing of anti-UV welding PVC rolls, a special formula is processed into the PVC strip, meaning that, when used in curtains or screens, the effects of the intense UV light are reduced. Suitable for use with all recognised curtain hanging systems.
We only offer one grade:
Certified Welding (UV filtering). The dark tint in conjunction with increased levels of anti-UV formula provide greater eye-protection. (To EN1598 / ISO25980 grade.)

Its life span will be dictated by where it’s used, what type of traffic might move through it and how carefully (or aggressively) such traffic does so. We have some customers who replace their PVC annually… others who’ve had the same for many, many years.
