Twin Track Anti-UV Welding PVC Strips.

Twin track anti-UV welding PVC strips - for twin track rails. Used in work environments were welding takes place and where ‘arc-eye’ can be a major health-hazard for people in the vicinity of the welder. During the manufacturing of this PVC a special anti-UV formula is processed into the strip meaning that, when used in curtains or screens, the harmful effects of the intense UV light are lessened. The strips also provide an excellent barrier to spray and splatter and they self-extinguish if hit by sparks. 

We offer one grades (available in dark green or red).

Certified Welding (UV filtering). The darkened tint and anti-UV formula helps protect the strip and, more importantly, the eyes of people nearby from intense UV light.  (To EN1598 / ISO25980 grade.)

We can supply new and replacement curtain strips using anti-UV PVC for all twin track rail set ups. Priced by the linear metre, cut to your required length and punched ready to hang.

Longevity: PVC strip is considered a consumable product. How fast it’s consumed is beyond any manufacturer’s or supplier’s control. Its life span will be dictated by where it’s used, what type of traffic might move through it and how carefully (or aggressively) such traffic does so. We have some customers who replace their PVC annually… others who’ve had the same for many, many years.
