Anti-static PVC curtain strips are designed for environments where electrostatic discharge (ESD) could interfere with sensitive equipment.
In busy facilities, every time people, cages, trolleys or equipment pass through a standard PVC strip curtain, the strips can rub against one another and generate static electricity. In most warehouses and commercial premises this isn't a concern. However, in environments containing sensitive electronics, servers or communications equipment, static build-up can create unnecessary operational risks.
That's why anti-static PVC is commonly specified in:
The specialist anti-static formulation helps dissipate static charge before it can accumulate, providing an additional layer of protection in critical environments.
Unlike replacing a complete curtain system, these ready-to-hang replacement strips allow facilities managers and maintenance teams to replace individual damaged strips quickly and cost-effectively.
Data centres often use PVC strip curtains to create flexible thermal barriers between different areas of a facility.
Anti-static replacement strips help maintain these barriers while reducing concerns around electrostatic discharge near:
The clear PVC maintains excellent visibility, allowing staff to monitor activity and equipment while helping separate temperature-controlled zones.
By reducing unwanted air movement between areas, anti-static strip curtains can also assist cooling efficiency and airflow management within technical environments.
These replacement strips are frequently used to repair or maintain:
Replace damaged strips without removing the entire curtain system.
Maintain airflow separation while allowing quick staff access.
Reduce contamination transfer and static build-up around sensitive production equipment.
Create flexible access points between equipment rooms and service areas.
Maintain environmental separation around cooling and electrical infrastructure.
Suitable for facilities where protection of sensitive electrical equipment is a priority.
In many data centres and technical facilities, curtain rails remain perfectly serviceable long after individual strips become damaged.
Replacing only the worn strips allows facilities teams to:
✔ Reduce maintenance costs
✔ Minimise downtime
✔ Extend curtain lifespan
✔ Maintain anti-static protection
✔ Avoid replacing complete rail systems
✔ Keep critical areas operational during repairs
Every strip is supplied cut to length and fitted with a stainless steel Hook On plate set ready for immediate installation.
