Frosted PVC strip curtains (also known as obscure or privacy strip curtains) are designed for areas where you need light transmission without full visibility. They allow natural daylight to pass through openings while obscuring the view from both sides — similar to frosted or bathroom-style glass.
This makes them ideal for environments where privacy, discretion or visual screening is important, but where maintaining an open, well-lit workspace is still essential.
Commonly used in workplaces that require separation between public-facing and operational areas, frosted strip curtains help maintain a clean, professional appearance while still providing the practical benefits of a flexible doorway system.
They also help reduce draughts, dust transfer and noise between spaces, making them a practical energy-saving alternative to doors or rigid partitions.
QuickMount is a child-safe, impact-resistant strip curtain system made from toughened polypropylene.
Unlike traditional metal rail systems, QuickMount uses integrated peg fingers that the PVC strips push directly onto. This eliminates the need for metal plate sets, reducing the risk of injury if a strip is pulled down or dislodged through impact or misuse.
This makes it particularly suitable for environments where safety and ease of maintenance are priorities, such as schools, nurseries, healthcare settings, retail back-of-house areas and light industrial spaces.
Rails can be face-fixed or soffit-fixed using pre-drilled M8 fixing holes.

PVC strips are supplied rolled. A slight curl may be present on first installation, which will naturally settle over time. For best results, allow strips to flatten overnight before fitting or use gentle heat or reverse rolling in colder conditions.
PVC strip curtains are a consumable product and lifespan will vary depending on usage intensity, traffic levels and environmental conditions.
For best results, installation in internal or sheltered areas is recommended. Continuous exposure to external weather conditions may reduce clarity and shorten service life.
