Loading bay PVC strip curtains are specifically designed for busy industrial doorways where strength, durability and reliable environmental control are essential. Unlike lightweight strip curtain systems, these curtains use Redwood's heavy-duty Swivel Hinge hanging system, developed specifically for demanding industrial environments. Each 400mm x 4mm PVC strip is securely bolted into galvanised steel swivel hinges, creating an exceptionally robust curtain capable of withstanding repeated impacts from busy warehouse traffic.

Installation

Swivel Hinge rails can be face mounted, soffit mounted or installed using stand-off brackets depending on your loading bay structure.

Rails are supplied fully assembled ready for installation.

PVC strips arrive pre-punched and simply bolt into each galvanised swivel hinge using the supplied M8 nuts and bolts.

Because the rails are extremely robust, they must always be fixed to a structurally sound surface capable of supporting the full curtain weight.

Longevity

Loading bay PVC strip curtains operate in some of the toughest industrial environments, so PVC strips are considered a consumable component. Service life depends on traffic frequency, forklift usage and environmental conditions.
